LIFE JACKET INSTRUCTION FOR USE

1.UNDO THE BUCKLE

2.PLACE THE LIFEJACKET OVER YOUR HEAD AND PASS THE STRAP AROUND YOUR WAIST

3.FASTEN THE STRAP BY PASSING THE LOOSE SMALLER METAL BUCKLE (RIGHT HAND) THROUGH THE LARGER BUCKLE (LEFT HAND) FROM THE INSIDE TOWARDS THE OUTSIDE

4.TO ADJUST THE BELT, TIGHTEN THE STRAP BY HOLDING THE BUCKLE AND PULLING THE LOOSE WEBBING END

GENERAL EMERGENCY ALARM SIGNAL The general emergency alarm is seven short blast followed by one Long blast. It is the same signal, whether on the ship’s whistle or In door alarm. The signal will be heard throughout the ship

ACTION ON HEARING THE GENERAL EMERGENCY ALARM SIGNAL From your cabin, proceed directly to your MUSTER STATION wearing your Lifejacket. If you are away from your cabin proceed directly to your MUSTER STATION where a life jacket will be provided

ABANDON SHIP SIGNAL In the unlikely even that the ship has to be abandoned the long continous abandon ship signal will be sounded on the ship’s whistle and also by the indoor alarm. The Signal will be heard throughout the ship. Your lifeboat is shown and highlighted on the plan below.
